We recently completed a project with Griffith Homes in Courtenay for one of our longest standing clients, and were very happy with the communication throughout the project, as well as a beautiful end result! Griffith followed our design drawings and specifications, had no problems adopting our project management software through the design phase, and then we switched over to theirs for the construction process.

Although we were completely remote during the construction, the communication was seamless. We received regular photo updates throughout the construction and were able to provide instructions and coordination without having to be on site. Very professional, thorough and extremely trustworthy

Tavis Griffith and Griffith Homes recently completed a major 6 figures renovation of our home in Comox. After purchasing our waterfront property in the fall of 2013 we contracted Griffith Homes (Tavis) to renovate the entire main floor including flooring (hardwood and tile), a new kitchen, bathrooms, staircase, paint, fireplace, walk-in closets, shower, etc. Tavis was at all times very professional, thorough and extremely trustworthy (so much that we left the country for 4 months and the project completely in his hands).

The Results when we returned were stunning and we were, to say the least, more than pleased with all aspects, which included little extras Tavis felt were essential and all UNDER budget. We are exceedingly pleased with the new house built for us by Griffith Construction. At every stage of construction we were informed of the advantages (or otherwise) of available options. Any concerns we might have had were listened to. Good suggestions were often made. The entire communication process was impressive.

Griffith Team is Conscientious and Focused

We hired Tavis and the team at Griffith Homes to do an extensive renovation of our 1980’s beach front home. The completed project was essentially a new home with a modern layout for both indoor and outdoor living and entertaining family and friends. During construction we were only able to visit the project every two months. As with all major renovation projects there are always surprises and issues that come along, therefore it was critical to have a trustworthy, cost conscious, experienced contractor that focuses on quality work and communication. The entire Griffith team is conscientious and focused on meeting all of these objectives to create an exceptional home and ensure we were happy with the result. It has been a pleasure to work with Tavis and his group and we highly recommend Griffith Homes.

The communication and overall project execution gave us confidence

We entrusted the building of our retirement dream home to Tavis and his team. Situated on a steep slope oceanfront lot there were challenges to overcome. Throughout the project, we continued to live in Michigan… despite the distance, Tavis worked seamlessly with our architect and interior designer. Incredible Team of People

We purchased our chalet up at Mt. Washington in October of 2020 after many years of dreaming about, and looking for, the perfect place for our family. In 2021, we decided to tackle the necessary exterior renovations and started our search find a suitable company to bring our vision to a reality. In the end, it became absolutely clear that Griffith Homes would be the very best people to take care of our unique project. Our chalet is a very special place to us and it is something that we hope to have in our family for many years to come and, eventually, pass on to our son Elliott. Having only the best on this project was important to us!

From day one, the professionalism, attentiveness, and sincere interest in our project was overwhelming. We knew that our home being up at the mountain was going to pose unique challenges and we feared that they might cause some reluctance but we couldn’t have been more pleased at the enthusiasm everyone showed to overcome these challenges and the eagerness to make it happen. Throughout the entire three and a half month project we were met with kindness, respect and a genuine concern for ensuring every detail was being taken care of. The craftsmanship displayed with every facet of the work was nothing short of exceptional and Ben, Sid, Rylee, Gabriel and Brad were such an amazing crew; one that we looked forward to seeing every time we visited the site throughout the summer. They always had time for our questions and always enthusiastically took care of any item we brought forward. In fact, nearly everything we brought up, they had already thought of and were addressing. We quickly learned that we had nothing to worry about and that if we were away from the site for any amount of time, everything was in great hands. Lastly, we would be remiss if we didn’t thank the crew behind the scenes that took care of the incredible logistics of a project like this and ensured that everything needed to tackle its unique challenges were in place for the crew. It was amazing to see things just fall into place and everything show up on site ready for every detail of the job. What an incredible team of people you all are!

Professional and Well Organized

This was the first time building our own home and Tavis and team eased our trepidation from the very beginning. Professional, thorough and well organized, the team guided us through the process from permitting and authorizations to designing the house to selecting the right contractors to managing a challenging supply chain (and budgets) during and after the pandemic to the most amazing post-build binder of key information needed to operate our home. Building a positive relationship with us as homeowners was as important as building an amazing and well-built house, and we appreciated that responsiveness, and willingness to listen to our needs. Great Attention to Detail

Great attention to detail from foundation to finishing. Office staff kept us up to date and were good to work with. The onsite work crew is excellent and they work well together, even the neighbors had positive comments.
